I also think that using three huge names that haven't ruined their reputation yet - Mario, Spider-Man, Barbie - as proof that woke sells is an extremely retarded argument on its face. They could have been actual dogshit, and still made money. There's a bit of a lag. If these movies were all woke, it's the sequels that will 'go broke.' The names carry too much momentum at present for them to really flop, until they ruin said name.
