The problem isn't leftists using the wrong word, but them dehumanizing a fetus into a thing that can be killed without even blinking. What Walsh could have said is "unborn baby" to indicate he's talking about a human being before birth rather than the way they think of it as "clump of cells".
I meant more the part about being squirrely about defining 'person.' He might not have gotten it all the way right, but I think the core point is worthwhile.

There's really nothing wrong with Matt's phrasing because "dead babies" is a superset of "dead fetus" in this context.
