Sure it seems dumb, but at least they are exercising and doing something that takes discipline. Far better than the hobbies American women have. (Posting on social media, drinking, smoking weed, eating, ect.)
That looks like a pretty low bar as far as exercise goes, especially when you compare it to just about any actual sport.
Edit: Was going to just toss out some random clip from any past footage of the Olympics, but apparently a lot of them are region locked somehow without any explanation beyond "this video is unavailable". Probably some broadcasting rights related nonsense with NBC.
