The thing I despise most about Crunchyroll is that it's a waste of a great business, if they just cut off the western side for decision making purposes they'd easily monopolise a lot of the anime streaming market. But because of dumb shit like this they invite competition and piracy.
It's like being able to have a golden goose laying gold eggs but giving it up because you don't want to care for it.
Gurren Lagann is one of my favorite anime of all time.
If it were to be dubbed today, I GUARANTEE Leeron would be voiced by an actual flaming homosexual and not by Steve Blum acting very unlike most of his other roles.
It’s like they saw that episode of South Park where Cartman was tricked into thinking he’d become a ginger. He suddenly become militantly pro-ginger, which includes terrorizing an actress playing Annie because she’s not an actual redhead. Apparently, a lot of liberals saw that behavior and said “yes! That’s how I should be!”
Of course, in 2014 we got the Annie movie with a black actress as the titular character, so whatever.

It just now occurred to me:

Again:
No one is allowed to ACT anymore.
