Sounds like journalism to me. Certainly in modern times, but I’m not convinced the profession was ever good. Calling people like Asange and O’Keefe “true journalists” is starting to get the same objection I have to “RINO”—it reverses which is the standard and which is the exception.

The Pulitzer Prize—the so-called award for journalistic excellence—was created by a sensationalist who instigated the Spanish–American War.
It's an award they give to each other for doing whatever it is that they do -- really well. In that case I guess it was instigating a war.
