Perhaps that was the play from the beginning. An excuse. Dylan Mulvaney was just rippin off the bandaid as they court new consumers to replace the ones who are probably honestly dying.
Elected officials import a new electorate. Why wouldn't businesspeople import new customers?
If that was the plan they wouldn't have made tangible efforts to win them back.
Its one thing to put out sad little press released to appear like you are sorry. Its another to put out major ad campaigns where cases of beer are literally free.
They wouldn't have done that if they were trying to lose people.
What if they wanted to win back customers but realized it's not happening?
It's just an idle thought anyways. If they go the direction of continuing to be woke, then maybe there's something to it.
That's certainly possible, but then it wouldn't have been the plan from the beginning.
I truly think that everyone beyond the retarded woman who involved them in this simply thought it would be a nothingburger for a single news cycle, maybe get a small uptick in sales, then move on. Like all their other "Pride" things.
Everything since has been a panic of trying to win back their customers while knowing they can't walk back anything they did, because doing so would kill their ESG and sponserships with major events. So they are chasing two birds and catching none, and are finally at the stage of begging here.
