Keep going back, I bet Trump is too. It's not like the only slaves ever were the black ones in America. That's all they count though.
I think everyone descends from both slaves and slaveholders.
The trouble comes when you magnify it and feel either guilt for descending from the latter or humiliation for descending from the former, because it means that you can be manipulated or be taught learned helplessness.
As a Brit I can pretty much guarantee that my genetics contain slave, slave holder and financer of imperial manumission; I have also paid toward said manumission for two decades via taxation
