Sadly true. I saw a beautiful picture of the touristy part of the wharf and felt homesick. Mt Rainier was shining over the sports dome, and people walked to the various shops along the piers. Then a shot of people walking around Pike Street Market.
That is also part of the ferry system from Bremerton and the fastest way to get to the business areas.
Then I remember the red guard, and how the city council and state government used them during the riots.
Yeah, Seattle actually looks like it would be a beautiful city; and you can kinda see that from some of the pre-current era. Like that deer statue that was put up in the 1950's. Old pictures of Seattle make it look great.
However, remember the punishment that happens when you turn back towards Sodom. You'll have to build a new community and gatekeep it properly.
Even in ruins, Seattle is beautiful. Places like Sedrow Wooley and Bremerton show the beauty better now though. The biggest problem I have with Orlando is how many people want to repeat what Seattle is doing and think it will work.
During the Covid riots in Seattle, all I could think about was the red guard wars.
It was also Seattle, so they were actually the Red Guard
