Here's the thing about the news: it's not worth reporting on the common. Pretty much everyone got worked up over the Ohio thing because, frankly, they were hoping to use it to dunk on Trump. Everyone talking about "how this would have been prevented if Deviant Don didn't scrap the new break regulation" despite the facts that:

1. The breaks would have done nothing to prevent the derailing.
2. The regulation was scraped because the cost-benefit outcome that was outlined under the Obama-era bill required a threshold to be passed.
3. It would have likely caused more injuries that it prevented as rail workers would have to spend more time between cars.
4. We would have literally zero rail car transportation as mixed-brake systems wouldn't be possible.
