Without more information, those of us who instinctively knew better had no argument at the time.
The argument is that the past statistics point to this being hilariously unlikely, and the chances of it being bullshit are higher than it actually being a Christian. Just call those people out as the liars and snakes that they are, and bring this incident (and others like) up next time so they have no excuse they can weasel out of.
we live in times where irrational people try to pretend they are hyperrational, so when their narrative goes against statistics and all believable likelihood they will say we don't know for sure and must wait to empirically find out... as in be told by CNN or whoever the fuck.
