Dunno about this particular guy, but regardless of what went on it's a classic case of fuck around and find out and why you always do your research before going into a country. It doesn't matter what it is, fucking westerners especially younger ones shouldn't be treating the world like their playground. We've all seen the leftists who go prancing around the world and they end up kidnapped and murdered. Yeah nah, there's a big thing about sexual crimes in Japan, you don't do creepy shit to girls, why would you in any country? lol.
I watch AbroadInJapan and happily recommend it to people whenever stuff like this comes up Chris Broad the guy who does the channel is a pretty fair guy and he does a great job giving a genuinely balanced view on Japan and will slap the weaboo right out of people if they watch his videos on advice about Japan for five seconds.
Edit: wait this was fucking staged? LOL This is getting bizarre to learn about.
Chris and those he collabs with like Connor and Ryotaro give a good insight into Japan without the weeb coloured glasses.
The 'problem' Japan has is that it has a lot of niche businesses that cater to one certain audience that become consistent customers. An example of this is their bar scene as you have themed bars from nuns, muscle girls, shooting range etc and all this variety makes it a content goldmine for streamers.
The issue comes in that these streamers getting great numbers attracts the bottom feeders like this guy who only knows being an asshole for views and thinks doing is skit in Japan will get him more viewers.
