There's a big by-election in the conservative stronghold of Portage—Lisgar, Manitoba. PPC leader Maxime Bernier is running there- the PPC came in 2nd in that riding the last election with over 20% of the vote. Max also held the biggest political rally of the entire last election there. So the establishment Conservative Party is obviously afraid, current leader Pierre Poilievre even visiting the riding (they got 70% of the vote in 2019) and accusing Bernier of being "woke" & "the same as Trudeau".

I literally did not attend the WEF conference @AndrewLawton. Of course I was on the site of the conference since this is where all the ministers of allied countries were gathered. But I was there to have meetings with them and discuss the Afghan situation, not to attend the conference.

Bernier is the ONLY politician willing to frankly discuss immigration and, thus, the only one worth voting for.
I'm sure he'll be a disappointment down the road, but if we can't stop importing over 1% of our population every year, we're all doomed.
