I think that's ten years off. It takes people who are ready for this for it to work. The same is for AI. We know it's headed in specific ways, so designers prepare everything for it.
I expect another lense discovery to get it even smaller, and the tech to improve at the same rate it has. The big issue is social situations with goggles. That's the big problem that needs to be figured out.
