Most big corps don't require a reason and give full refunds. Abuse of the refund system will just result in them changing their policy to charge a restocking fee like a lot of smaller companies already do.
Costco used to let you return anything at any time no questions asked, and people abused it by taking in their 2-year-old TV to get a refund and buy the newest model for the same exact amount. Now you only have a month or something to return electronics.
