So, you lie about "melting down over DeSantis running for President" when he's clearly identifying a personal grievance with how he's been treated.
And of course, that response is legitimate because you all have been smearing him publicly for weeks in whatever manner you had available to you, you're upset he's telling you to go fuck yourself?
Why am I supposed to care that he hates you for how you treat him?
By the way, a lot of people are saying that announcement went poorly. I personally don't care how his announcement went, I'm not really surprised if it did because he's always had some public speaking issues, but you're attempt to deflect the poor performance with an attack on a pollster is pretty telling.
I wouldn't necessarily agree with it, but it's definitely not a meltdown. It isnt hard to understand the logic. Just about anyone with an above room temperature IQ knows that Biden is an establishment stooge. Whereas DeSantis has fooled a ton of people into thinking he's not Bush lite.
If DeSantis, who banned grooming in schools, smashed Disney, banned vaccine and mask mandates, opposed regime change in Syria, is "Bush lite", then I guess this Bush is an amazingly good fellow.
Yes, he has skeletons in his closet. And it may well be that he will revert to his own neocon self once he is in office. There is no way of knowing, which is why I prefer Trump (even though he was practically useless on neoconism beyond starting no new wars). But he's doing and saying everything (mostly) right at the moment.
If you openly say that you support a proven establishment stooge over someone who may not be completely perfect, then yes, I count that as a meltdown.

Extremely naive. These are all good things, but as the pieces come together it's getting clearer and clearer that these are very calculated moves to try and take the party back for the establishment. Would love nothing more than to be wrong, and even just a few months ago I still had some optimism remaining, but even just seeing who comes out of the woodwork to back him should be enough to make people extremely wary.
I agree that he's obviously better than Biden though, but there is a very real danger of dissipating the populist sentiment that has built up over the past decade if enough people think they've "won" if DeSantis wins. He won't though so it's a moot point unless orange man has a stroke or the CIA nails him JFK style. That being said, I don't blame Baris for being extremely bitter when they made it very personal for him.

It's no stretch that saying that you prefer Biden over DeSantis is a massive, unadulterated meltdown.
