Here's the ultra-cringe St Luke's ad, which, in the extended version, rants about banning smoking and vaping altogether, because it makes the idiots who agree with these people "uncomfortable" to see it in the community:
Not that I'm advocating for smoking or vaping, but banning the choice, as here, because upper middle class idiots think they can decide on the behalf of everyone else..? Yeah, I don't agree with that.
Also lol at the deeply ironic choice of music for this one...
I love how ad companies have absolutely no clue what the original intention of songs were, and don't bother finding out...
Ironically that's kind of what they've already done, but with that typical tyrannical Aussie government twist: you need a prescription to buy a nicotine vape.
Banning the recreational vaping is basically them shutting down 'black market' products under the guise of protecting kids.
Except "banning" recreational vaping created the black market. It's not like weed in the US where everyone was already so used to going to a dealer that they just kept going to them once it was legalized.
And yet the Medibank ad would have you believe a fat pajeet is the pinnacle of human health.
Let's just be honest here, they're banning 'recreational' vaping because the government hasn't found a way to get its hands on that sweet tax revenue.
Yep, agreed.

Legalize it, sell it openly in stores, and tax it.
It's not that hard, that's what evey other country does.

Just one more example of government 'solving' a problem of their own creation.
