Nobody gives a shit that Nick Fury was changed to black because it was Samuel L. Jackson.
If it only happened occasionally, and the nonwhites demonstrated merit & talent so the white audience could watch and say "well, I can see why this person won out getting the role irrespective of color", then nobody would have a problem with it.
The only reason its a problem is because clearly inferior people are being chosen - objectively creating an inferior product - purely to force a political agenda on the audience.
A significant tragedy, because Cruise playing Harvey Weinstein opposite RDJ and Ben Stiller parodying pretentious actors was funny in a way movies haven't been in fifteen years or more.

How come it never goes the opposite direction? Why didn't they cast Ryan Gosling as T'challa in Black Panther?
I would pay to see Ryan Gosling in blackface
the only thing you'll ever get is (((Robert Downey jr))) playing as a white guy playing as a black guy in a (((ben stiller))) movie
And that was in 2008 back when you could still do edgy shit. RDJ's blackface and Cruise's jewface would both be haram in 2023 hollywood.
