Yeah I don't get this criticism. I get that he has to focus on his platform and why he deserves your vote, and that talking about 2020 election fraud comes across as whining - but if he's asked about it is he supposed to keep deflecting or say "Thanks but I'd rather talk about the future of this great country!" like some slick two-bit politician? Normies might even walk away thinking "Yep, he told The Big Lie and now he's running with his tail between his legs, thinking we all forgot."
