According to this article, this hoe tried to kill her husband twice before the successful attempt in March. Also tried to change his life insurance policy in January.
According to warrants, “he warned them that if anything happened to him, she was to blame.”
A warrant states he didn’t tell Kouri about the change because, according to his sisters, he believed Kouri might “kill him for the money” and wanted their kids to be financially secure.
Warrants allege he was planning to file for divorce, but he died before any proceedings began.
This guy seems not very smart if he suspected his wife of being a murderous psychopath but continued to live with her.

I know it's tough with the kids and all but sorry, I have to do a little victim blaming in this case

If he left, she'd have killed the kids instead.
Nah. This woman is obviously a psychopath, motivated by greed. She killed him for the money, then she wrote a book about it for the money.
If anything she'd have accused him of rape and then leveraged that into a lucrative pity tour.
