When I try to in good faith see this issue from the other side, I absolutely cannot find any rational justification for this horseshit AT ALL. It’s known by all that the vaccine doesn’t prevent or even meaningfully reduce transmission so there is absolutely no mechanism by which the vaxxed are made safer by excluding the unvaxxed. The only way you could countenance this is if you are hysterically, irrationally fearful, unable to think in anything other than slogans and soundbites and emotional tableaus. Unfortunately I think that describes much of the Canadian electorate,
From talking to average Canadian people who agree with Castreau on this issue, I think average Canadians get a thrill out of restricting the liberty of other Canadians. It's basically a huge power trip and since they took the vaccine, they don't see the negative impacts. These Canadians literally get off on the idea of hurting other Canadians that disagree with them. That is why I keep telling Canadians that these "leftists" are not anyone's friend that is simply misguided. These are outright enemies.
