Which I would argue is why you are seeing the rise of non-Hollywood movies, the rise of Anime and Manga, and the rise of Indie video games. Not only are those things typically cheaper than the stuff made by the insane Californians, they typically have actual interesting stories, characters, gimmicks, etc. So here we are with them rising.

Probably also why you have seen movies like Top Gun, John Wick, and Mario make absolute boatloads of money. Shocking what happens when you tap into pent up demand.

And it's mostly just a desperate return to 90's liberal normalcy. Crime's bad. Immigration should be restricted. Taxes should be "fair". No one's actually asking for or seeking out properly anti-Liberal (philosophically) propaganda. Most people are at least comforted by basic bitch American Nationalism, and the frustrated ones are happy to be told that there are anti-woke options out there.

The pent up demand is in absolutely basic normie attitudes, not reactionary ones.

That still doesnt really help the people who want to make Hollywood and video games into their own personal bullhorn of ideology though. Because if that happens, people will just go and watch RRR in all of its "What the fuck am I even watching" glory, and ignore the next attempt at a propaganda laced movie.

Or better still, the propaganda is tested by the inherent nature of videogames: interactivity and open choice.

Hence, why there were vidoes of Red Dead Redemption players beating up 1st Wave Feminists, and Fortnit players throwing tomatoes at BLM lectures.
