This is nothing new, is wrong but is not new. Tech is one of the most up front about discriminating against men. Is completely culturally accepted that women get priority when hiring and you get most men in the company clapping and cheering the discrimination.
Lets not forget that Google was sued for discriminating against women and after an internal audit they ended up raising the pay for men, because it turned out they were discriminating against men.
Nothing will change in tech because those that get discriminated against are happy about the discrimination.
