Finland is not a liability because adding Finland to NATO doesn't increase the chance of NATO being attacked. They're joining because they don't like or trust Russia, but Russia isn't going to give Finland cause to invoke Article Five.
It's so insignificant that Chukna posts about how insignificant it is every day.
That's the whole point. The US needs weak members that are easy targets. That way they get an excuse with article 5 to go to war.
The real suckers here are the Finns who are offering up their lives and land as a battlefield.
