Criticism goes one way. Consumers, purchasers, buyers. They get to criticize the thing they are considering for their investment. Producers? They do not get to criticize their audience. They don't. That IS an attack, that IS 'Woke' entitlement.
The attempt to normalize the state of 'choosing your audience' is why you will perpetually fail to understand why you even fail.
Why do these comic books that show nothing but women sitting in a coffee shop talking keep failing?! Or why don’t more women play Battlefield when we made it for them.

It's been a growing trend for a while but really hit a lot of peoples' radar when the Mass Effect 3 ending failed to land in any respectable manner. While eventually the ending was tweaked, I'm not going to say it was "fixed" because the ending is still retarded, it took a lot of backlash and bridge burning to get there.
