All of human civilization and progress can be understood as trying to survive the hell that is Earth by creating and protecting small pockets of existence for our families and tribes, making them as close to heaven as possible.
That's true.
I have a few thoughts on this. The first is that Christ taught us to learn to love the other tribes. That's the one that gets skipped a lot.
The second is about lightning pictures. I have never seen a picture of lightning striking a Jewish district in a city. It's always been weird.
The third is about how often I see people use this idea of tribes incorrectly. Every tribe strives for heaven, and then some overdo it. They can't have heaven unless another tribe or group serves them. They can't have heaven because of the limits of this earth. This is when their society breaks apart and it shows up a ton in history.
I'm not sure what you mean here.
I'm pretty sure we can find proof of lighting striking a building in Israel.
