Normally, I wouldn't have bothered, but now it has a PDF highlighting function and 'ChatGPT 3.5' in the form of that Bing chatbot, with which I'm experimenting. (It's still unreliable.)
But at least they got me to use Microsoft Edge and 'Bing'. That's something. :')

Bing maps also tends to have more recent imagery. Especially for smaller cities outside the top 20 metros.
A lot of me is screaming "short Alphabet Inc." right now. Microsoft is looking like they might break Google's dominance and their entire business is built on that.
There are probably extensions that can do that pretty easily on non chromium browsers.
