The problem is as well of course they're always incredibly one dimensional characters even if the actress isn't insufferable. That's not even the worse part about these 'modern' shows and films.
For me it's the fact they always keep shoe-horning these millenials into scenes they just don't belong. The stupid hipster biker gang in the book of boba fett is a great example of this. They didn't even really put any effort into the costumes or make up, it's like they just dumped them into the scene and had them 'act' at least throw some alien extras or something to make it plausible but no.
They may as well have been sipping soy lattes while sitting on their bikes, the bikes as well looked completely fucking out of place, don't know if they used models on them or what but If I remember correctly they didn't have a speck of dust on them despite being on a huge desert planet.
Oh and yes I double checked, huge desert planet, zero dust despite them zooming around constantly. They're not even consistent with the art direction anymore and I keep spotting this shit.
They made a big deal about how being Madalorian means never taking off your helmet and now THE Mandalorian is going to be some bitch who constantly takes her helmet off? The ultimate Mando supremacist who wants to retake the motherland doesn't adhere to the old ways?
Thanks for not making your universe internally consistent Disney.
