I’m not wishing death on the guy per se but I’m about to be really interested to see if they try to convince 21st century humanity that they can “prove” they found the little baby who is his reincarnation after he dies. They haven’t had to “identify” his reincarnated self since like the 1930s, right? And they claimed they knew it was him because the kid picked up some of the prior Dalai Lama’s possessions when presented with a mixed collection of things (so if they tested enough kids eventually one would happen to pick up the right things)? I’m looking forward to how they try to explain it in our modern era, and I’m perfectly sure certain credulous groups will totally eat it up.
