Jesus, I hate cops as much as anyone else but if anyone actually thinks they should allow someone to drive away in a stolen car with one cop in the vehicle while dragging another one behind it, they are insane.
In the current climate, the cops are fucked. A white cop shot a black man... case closed, he's going to prison. Which is a good thing. White cops need to be demoralized and encouraged to quit. They need to know that there is no such thing as a clean shoot if the perp is black.
Eh I don't think it's really about the object. With the cop in the back, the driver is kidnapping. Giving the cop or anyone plenty of right to shoot him in the back.
