Technically trans rights are men's rights.
The men's right to "be a woman".

Which, as it happens, is what most MRA's want. Not in the sense that they want wear a dress, get fake tits and become a sex freak, but in the sense that they want the freedom of choice that women have. They want to be able to be stay at home parents, they want to be able to choose whether they have any responsibility for their offspring, they want to be able to be welfare queens, they want women's rights in divorce courts.
The MRA ttherefore wants to be able to assume the role of a woman where advantageous.
Of course, this isn't what Rowling means. Rowling is just using the phrase 'Mens Rights Activists' because to a female supremacist like her, that term is basically the same 'Nazi' is to your average leftoid. A term she can fling at anyone with a penis who disagrees with her.
Plenty of MRAs simply want the rights that men were traditionally given, such as being considered fairly for jobs that they are capable of performing (instead of being discriminated against in favour of women with less ability) and being guaranteed rights to see and bring up their children (instead of being assumed by default to be unfit parents or worse). Yet, even so-called "traditionalists" do not support men having these rights if it would be a detriment to women.
That was always a big schism in the MRA type groups. One portion wanted things to just go back to grandpappy's time and have men be men again. The other wanted all the cool stuff feminism and women had, but for men too.
That's why as a grouping MRAs never could agree enough to get much done. They were often fighting on what they even wanted.
That's why I stopped following them nearly a decade ago. Too many pussies
