Let’s compare the amount of ar-15 killings per year to pistols… funny how they scream “assault weapons” when the guns most frequently used in shootings are .22 and 9mm with ar 15s being a major minority of all gun violence.
Handgun crime is mostly black on black. They're not interested in stopping their gang banging constituents from killing each other. The typical AR-15 owner is a white male in the suburbs or rural areas. They're going after cultural enemies.
The bigger "scarier" gun was always going to be their first target. They want it to play out exactly like Canada. Ban so-called "military rifles", then ban more long guns, then go for the handguns.
Speaking of their list, "seventeen deadliest mass killings in the U.S. since 2012." Which is more arbitrary? A top 17 list (I assume this is how many they needed to get 10 involving an AR-15 without going to 20 and reducing the %). Or starting in 2012?
Conveniently leaves out both Columbine and Virginia Tech, among others.
