Women should lower their standards. Men should too. Unrealistic expectations is the hallmark of postmodernist decay. The idea that everyone can or should be a rockstar, sports star, model or actress.
Contentment is a good thing, even if someone's lot in life isn't glamorous.
Women in particular however, should lower their standards because their standards are artificially high. Even compared to men, whose standards are inflated thanks to the porn industry(nevermind who's responsible for that), women are inculcated with the lie that every one of them is a princess and deserves a vice president with a car that costs as much as a house.
It's socialism, essentially. The idea that resources aren't really scarce, and that social gluttony is accessible to everyone. Then they ride the cock rollercoaster in search of this illusion until they're too old and used up for the man they really wanted to give a damn.
But the biggest reason women should lower their standards is a simple matter of reality. They have a shelf life. Men don't.

This is a good attitude, though I don't agree that any of those categories are 'good'. Where I disagree is that with these obesity rates, people should lower their standards even further. Maybe if their raised their standards a bit, to at least "don't be 100 pounds overweight", people would be forced to lose weight unless they wanted to be alone.
nevermind who's responsible for that
I think it's very naive to think that there would be no porn if that scapegoat wasn't there. There's money to be made there, and people are going to do it. The problem is societal and not a particular group of people.

Everyone has a shelf life. It's just that for women, all main desirable qualities decline with age, whereas for men, the 'resources' one gets better.
The guy who is balding, unemployed, fat and living in his mom's basement at age 25 isn't going to do any better at age 40, in fact, he will do much worse.
No one said there would be no porn. What I said is that certain people who seem to chronically try to undermine and degrade civilized societies are proliferating it knowingly, with destructive intent.
Everyone has a shelf life
That statement was for SMV you know it. Not that I'd expect a sodomite to understand the concept.

So you think people producing porn are not interested in making money, but in destroying stuff. Fascinating.

Like I said, men's "SMV" obviously has a shelf life.

You can't be for real.
In terms of physical appearance certainly.
I don't think most men could lower their standards any further.
I agree with you here.
