Yea on one hand all the jobs coming in are a good thing but that also brings the people from those states who were with the company. My dad says republicans are going to have to play the democrats game with early voting
You guys need to make jobs for your friends (ie. people who will keep Texas Texan), not recruit Californians.
You have a massive oil and energy industry. Some of that's pozzed at the top but it also requires a huge employment base of Trump supporters that Bay Area Tech doesn't and won't give you. Why not cultivate that? Texas is a country unto itself if it wants to be. Oppose anything that gets in the way of that.
Well the governor was big on “green energy” until the freeze we had were the windmills were frozen and had to be oiled down to work again. But natural gas and oil have been good for us and we have two nuclear plants. But you make a great point
Just saying these fuckers are clever. You see a bunch of people who come into your state who seem a bit off, your instincts are probably correct.
West Coast had a bunch of nuke plants, but they keep getting shut down despite being safe and profitable. Weird how that happens. Again, don't let that happen to you.
I definitely worry about that because I know a number of states used to be reliably red
