Here's the best part that I didn't even know until it was brought up in this case:
Not one protester entered the House where the count was being made in the first place. They could have counted it without even being interrupted. They instead chose to interrupt their own session.
The protesters got into the Senate, where no one was at. Then they were let into the senate.
That is the basis of the sedition. If congress interrupts it's own session, then you "insurrected".
