So it had a better first week in irrelevant dead media than GTA San Andreas or Warcraft 3 had in their entire first weeks. It's still fair to say it's setting records.
Again, it's now #1 and #2 on Steam after weeks of sitting in the top 5. I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers, since they won't release hard sales numbers for some time.
You mean the one released at the height of the franchise's popularity? You'd pick the one released after a decade of diminished relevance and several movie flops? Why?
Yes. And it worked. Whether they meant it that way or not, that's what happened. You tell me the last time wokies were the butt of a marketing campaign. This diminishes their next cancelation attempt.
