So their suggestion is to keep men being the breadwinner (because of hypergamy) but also do the chores, the physical work and study in expensive University courses to the point they are not in unstable jobs? In other words, it's yet another implementation of telling men to "do better" that we hear in the west.
And I agree that it will fail. Because we know that declining birth rates are linked to higher quality of life as the curve goes that as premature death, disease and life expectancy rise, the number of children families have falls. Now the answer is not to go back to the 1800s where we are all working in factories or farms.
What I fear will become the answer when this fails will be the introduction of a tax, pretty much guaranteed to be implemented on men but potentially women too where you are financially crippled if you don't have a partner as a nudge. It's happened many times in the past to dissuade people from being single. They could even outlaw being single if you fail to find a partner by a certain age and keep you jailed until you find a partner to marry for release. The feminist dream of jailing bachelors, MGTOW, incels and the like would finally come true (they would naturally lobby for women to not befall the same fate).
