Absolutely. All of this bullshit started as these little nothings, before they grew to what they were. Its not suddenly okay when they calm down back to the little concessions, which only seem so little because of how far the Overton Window has moved.
Its one reason why I enjoy the PC modding battleground that's cropping up. Its a much more direct message to the devs and companies that "we like this game, but hate this particular thing" instead of the classic "they didn't buy this game, better self the entire IP its worthless" generalized. As long as you pirate it, then blow the mod up, its the best way you can send a message back without supporting.
