Apparently worked on this game but retired in 2021.

Retired or was retired? I don't remember exactly but was that the guy who was told to go because he was pro gamergate back in the day and had a youtube channel?

Yes, but no. He wasn't told to go because of this shit, and apparently is still on speaking terms with the dev team. Some idiot probably ran with this idea because...yeah.
