It’s a new movie on Netflix. Should be enough to tell you not to bother. Add that to the fact that any black writer or director in Hollywood can seem to just tell a story and has to inject race into everything. Ava Duvernay is probably the worst
I mean they did use the mixed-race daughter in place of the clearly black daughter that would seem to result of the pairing. I suppose you could look at that as race swapping of the mother or the father. They probably give themselves extra points for putting in a mixed race person and distorting reality.
