I'm gonna disagree on that point. It wasn't their own rich husbands they were furthering the interest of. It was the other rich husbands who were exciting and new and hotter.
Because these are not women of loyalty, or integrity, or any form of support. Doing something for their sake of their own husband is a concept foreign to them, else they wouldn't have found the idea of womanhood, motherhood, and home making so shackling and evil.
