"fans will experience an improved story, characters, gameplay..."
So it isn't just about making the game look prettier and for modern consoles, it's also about changing a class game for modern audiences...
Yeah, nah. I own the original two, I'll go back and play them.. it looks nice but if they're shoehorning bullshit into a classic they can fuck right off
Rendered the events of Chrono Trigger a completely fucking pointless shaggy-dog story. You are expected to believe that within five years, Porre went from a small southern town to a global military power--thanks to fucking Dalton. And worst of all, every CT character is murdered--Robo in particular gets a disgraceful fuck-you end.
Central message is "Humanity sucks and you suck for liking it. Kill yourself to save the planet, you goddamn parasite."
Nothing says "We have confidence in our product" like "don't talk about our product, we make it not allowed to discuss anything relating to our product!"
Even if user reviews were enabled, would it matter? It doesn't seem like people see the problem. Dead Space '23 is sitting at 88% on Steam. Out of the 12% of negative reviews, very few of them mention the regressive alterations.

Reminds me of how Chrono Cross' plot was the biggest possible middle finger to the message of Chrono Trigger.
I refuse to accept that there was any game other than Chrono Trigger.
I never played Chrono Cross, but I thought Chrono Trigger was a masterpiece for its era. What did Chrono Cross do?

Thank you! I cringe when I hear people say they loved Chrono Cross. It's a disgustingly bad game.

Doesn't stop it. Just puts it off another step.
