Crowder presently has a huge Youtube channel which is his primary way of driving monetization to his brand. He censors himself on his Youtube content all the time because he doesn't want to get banned. The whole "omg DW wants to carry water for youtube" angle is idiotic when you consider that nothing would change for Crowder. Obviously the whole "demonetized on youtube" thing is something Crowder could have and should have red lined instead of throwing a hissy fit.

Why are you dick riding Crowder on production costs? Do you know what his production costs are? Because I'm certain he didn't reveal that private business info to the public. Since he is a one-man-show and just a podcast, his production costs ought to be very low.

DW also offers subscriptions, they'd still have Mug Clug memberships.

Umm, no I'm not. I think Crowder is a juvenile idiot with an immature and cringe sense of humor, which is why I don't watch him, and why he's so popular on Youtube. I'm glad he didn't sign with the DW.

The quarterly content is cheap and the same as his daily show basically. The annual content is basically a "special" like "What is a Woman" that could involve travel and interviews. It wouldn't cost millions, and Boering openly said he was expecting to negotiate and end up paying more than the $50m original offer, which, btw, comes to $12.5m a year. Do you not understand $12.5m a year is? A typical low level staffer/contractor costs $30-50k. A high level one costs $70-100k. He could have a staff of 10 lower end and 5 higher end - which is way more than he should need, and that's only a payroll of ~$800k, which is only 6.4% of what he's getting paid.

Not that I saw on Twitter, and I can say this is especially true of Walsh. Go ahead and link me his tweet prior to the recorded call where he attacked Crowder. The whole of DW was being unusually polite and nice to Crowder. I would not have been. I think it's because Shapiro and Boering wanted to be the adults and maintain friendly relations with Crowder even though he knifed them.
