Just being in a flight with Epstein doesn't mean you're a pedophile. Imagine you become a multimillionaire in the 2000s. You start going to networking parties. Someone introduces you to Epstein, who has a lot of money and is well connected. As you two hit it along, he offers you a flight on his plane from wherever you are back to your home city. You agree, because you're networking. Nothing strange happens in the flight. The air hostesses are young and cute, but you don't even suspect they're underage. Without you knowing, Epstein is gauging your reactions to them, to see if you're someone he can make certain future offers to. If you fall for lust, maybe next month you end up on his island, doing it on hidden camera with an underage teen and become a de-facto vassal. But back in the first flight you weren't necessarily guilty of anything. Your name being published as having flown with him could ruin your life unfairly. It would be guilt by association. There is a legitimate argument for handling this with delicacy.
Oh, I agree about the coverup. I was just arguing for a legitimate reason not to publish the flight names.
Probably how it happened. What's weird is no-one on that list has come out and given an account as to what happened. The ONLY person I've ever seen/heard give an account of when they met epstein was Eric Weinstein who met him in his office one day. And spent most of the podcast reminding everyone that he had a weird feeling about epstein and he thought he was fake in some way. There's a huge amount of virtue signalling to be had to come out and say "I knew epstein was weird when I met him" it's weird no-one has done it.
Trump also did/said something, I think he cut ties with him years before the whole gig was up.
As to why nobody says anything, it's more convenient to stay quiet when nobody associates your name with him than to say something and then have to defend yourself.
Trump rode on his plane one time, and shortly after that banned him from all Trump properties with no reason given.
Funny how the rich and powerful get "handling with delicacy", while the not-rich gets a hammer and/or nails.
I think the publishing of circumstantial evidence that's not enough for charges wouldn't be done to non-rich people either.
