Okay, so next up is some good Hack & Slash games that you played this year. Be sure to let us know if you've got any good videos of watch of some playthroughs, and if it's on sale anywhere.
As was previously shown to me we can use this to check on deals: https://isthereanydeal.com/
And how about the Most Aggressive Propaganda? I feel like this might end up including the Trump Raid, the Balenciaga Scandal, the fact that the G-Word has been banned because certain big tech oligarchs support bad things to children, the attempts to cover over the Loudon County rapes, attempts to distract from the Twitter Files, and of course: the all-sides propaganda round the Ukraine War
I wonder if the public will reach the “freedom fries” level of hysteria. Luckily for Russians most of their cuisine doesn’t incorporate their countries name
That was Freedom Fries levels of crazy. There were American businesses dumping Polish Vodka because it sounded Russian.
And to be clear. "Freedom Fries" were roundly mocked, not seen a brave support against terrorism.
Well I was more so thinking foods like chicken Kiev, borscht, golumpkis, pierogis etc
I've seen a recipe for a "Polish mule," a replacement for a Moscow mule (yeah, should have been Warsaw mule.) But that was from a Polish company, and may have even predated all the hysteria. Could also have been a business decision to avoid the mentioned dumping of Russian-sounding vodka.
You can't even get Russian vodka in my state still, I think. Glad I don't drink vodka.
Not much actual Russian vodka in USA. The USA has a lot of grain and distilleries so most of our stuff is domestic. It's not like Scotch where provenance is important
We already reached that point in Poland, but with pierogi instead of fries. The most popular kind of pierogi with potato, onion and cottage cheese filling which are traditionally called "Pierogi Ruskie".
Since February many shops changed the name to "Ukrainian Pierogi" to avoid promoting Russia, even when "Ruskie" part of the name came from old polish name for Ukraine (Ruś).
Fucking idiots.
Oof as an American from a polish blended city the ruskie pierogies were still in place here
