The intelligence community is a lapdog to Israel. How many directors/committee members are Israeli citizens. It doesn't matter if the ground squirrels implicitly trust Mossad, the people pulling the strings are zionists, and the people on the ground are wearing blinders. It's always been this way.
I don't think that it's this way now, and it certainly hasn't always been this way, since the US and Israel were on opposing sides of the Suez Crisis.
One of the last things RFK did was point the finger at the CIA for JFK's assassination.
I don't think that's because RFK always opposed the CIA. I think it's because the CIA clearly sided with LBJ: who, if it wasn't a coup, still treated it like one.
I don't really see much evidence that JFK didn't trust the CIA. The biggest thing I see is that he had a major problem with the Bay Of Pigs invasion because it caused a major international scandal and it got laid at his fucking feet politically. The CIA completely shit the bed, and JFK paid for it. That doesn't necessarily make them enemies.
It's 100% this way now. I've had candid conversations with multiple MI/J2/etc personnel over the past 10 years, and on multiple occasions I've been told that half of what JSOC does is mop up after Mossad. Denying the long standing, parasitic relationship between America and her "greatest ally" is absolutely ridiculous. As you astutely pointed out, look at all the oportunities and reasons the US government has/has had to publicly discredit/disown Israel: false flag attacks, espionage, selling military technology to America's enemies, etc.; and yet every time it's treated as a non story by the propagandist press. Imagine if Jonathan Pollard or the dancing Israelis had been Russian or Chinese instead of Israeli.
There are speeches where JFK expresses his distrust in the CIA, as I recall, it was one of the things he ran on. There's documentation regarding him being briefed on the zionist subversion of the "deep state."
If I remember RFK's assassination correctly, he was calling for the investigation of the CIA about 15 seconds before he was shot.

Yeah, I keep hearing you guys go over this meme, but I distinctly remember dancing Palestinians, and it was on NBC News. The answer was: significant offense, but not much more than that.

Shouldn't have been. It was a campaign speech. "The CIA killed my brother" wasn't a major talking point of left-wing political thought at the time. "The CIA killed MLK"? Yeah, at the time, it was pushed.
