jobless men don’t act the way advocates of “universal basic income” have always promised they would — becoming caregivers, volunteering in their communities or pursuing artistic passions. The evidence from time-use surveys all suggests pretty strongly that people freed from the responsibility of work sit on their asses all day, do drugs and play video games. Who knew, right?
Good. The idea that there's nobility in performing labor is completely preposterous when that labor is simply to make a multinational corporation and the billionaires that control it even richer while feeding a feminist-facist government that hates you.
People work to put food on the table; if they found a way to scam the system and get money without working, more power to them. Withdraw from soyciety and become ungovernable.

No, no, no. See, in a communist society they would! Even when they can live without working, capitalism is still keeping them down! Reeeeee!
I've honestly heard this argument. Everyone's beliefs, motivations, and actions would change if you force communism upon them.
Communists live in their own weird little reality, completely divorced from actual observable reality.
I keep pointing out that Cambodia was a literal Socialist Utopia under Pol Pot. Killing 40% of the population was a small price to pay to banish the wrong-think.
The constant fear of being tortured to death and the brutal below-subsistence poverty was fine. At least they were real socialists.
