I despise these types of critics. They honestly get angry about white people in a show. I’m also sick of this impossible standard America is held to. Let’s examine how non western countries dealt with indigenous people there
If you’re talking the Spanish, they pretty much either killed or assimilated them all. Hence, uhh, much of Latin America doesn’t quite have these same issues, in Current Year…
Of course, there was also the option to go full Paraguay (the logical end point of “critical social justice”), where you had enforced miscegenation, at one point, but you never go full Paraguay, lol…
Or, alternatively, the Boers in South Africa, who, again, well let’s just say their record certainly wasn’t much “kinder” than the British, lol…
Or Brazil, which ended slavery much later than the US..?
The possibilities for this are endless, but, you see, those places and communities largely do not give a fuck, about “social justice politics”, so… This isn’t a thing.
White farmers in Zim and SA and the like actually fought to hold onto their rights, when it came down to it. Most Westerners would be too cowardly to ever do the same. Hence the complete lack of empathy for said White farmers, lol…

One sided history has become the norm. I wonder how much screeching would occur if there was an accurate film based on the Jamestown massacre.
Or the brutality of slavery that the African kingdoms practiced
