The problem with AP is that they sell their articles to lots of small publications across the globe. Their stories have a far reach due to "Local" outlets filling up space in their region or hobby specific news products.
This is a major part of the corruption in media bias.
The problem with AP and Reuters is that they are as bad as NPR and MSNBC, but people treat them like an objective source of professionalism. Their credibility is undue and unearned. It's very much the same problem with the BBC.

Yep that's the point. Way more subversive and effective than Voice of America. :)
Not that it would matter here but I wonder if all the publications are equally liable for defamation claims.
