Good idea, but this bust was at a private school. Parents need to choose private schools with explicitly conservative or Christian mission statements. I suppose even that is no guarantee. A parent has to thoroughly investigate the course descriptions and staff as well.
Yep. So much of this falls on the parents. They think their job is done once they choose a private school. Fuck no. They need to much more actively vet potential schools and be more aware of warning signs. Need to be actively keeping up to date on what your kids are learning, etc.
Of course, the point is that being that it's a private school there can be accountability. A public school is wholly unaccountable.
