I know it’s a vague description but worth a try. I was telling my niece (12 years old and into manga/anime) about an anime I saw a while back about a single guy and one day an angelic type woman comes into his life to help him and of course they eventually fall in love. I know that is a vague description but I was hoping someone may remember

A man who died heroically and was sent to a different world as recompense. Before his new life, he met with a beautiful and graceful goddess, and she granted him a wish. Being so impressed by the goddess, he requested for her to accompany him.
That's a quick summary of the first few minutes. It's worth a watch, imo.
